Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) Empty
PostSubject: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeThu Feb 04, 2010 6:43 am

If Fera was embarrassed she showed no outward signs of it, her pale face remained as impassive as ever. Only the previous widening of her light green eyes betrayed the shock she felt. Since her mother’s illness had taken hold Fera had learned that it was best to keep how she felt to herself. Her mother didn’t need the added stress of her daughter’s own wild emotions and worries. So to help her mother, Fera kept them to herself. But even though she didn’t show it, her mother knew. Her mother may be sick but she wasn’t a fool, she was attune to the way her daughter felt despite Fera’s efforts to hide it.

“Ah, sorry,” Fera half apologized for her mistake. It seemed that she’d interrupted a very private moment here. Feeling slightly awkward she crossed her arms over her chest, and scratched idly at the inside of her left arm. Though it was obscured by her coat, located on the inside of her arm between her shoulder and elbow was a strange tattoo like marking. Fera was clueless as to how she got it, it just suddenly appeared a few months ago shortly after her family moved here due to her mother’s illness. It had bothered her for awhile, she hated not knowing why it was there, and how it got there. But after awhile she’d simply gotten over it and so far it’d never bothered her. Besides Fera had always wanted to get a tattoo. Tattoos were a just another form of art that used one’s body as a canvas. But ever since she stepped into this room the mark suddenly sent a tingling almost itchy sensation through her arm that annoyed her.

Fera tried to ignore the sensation in her arm, and instead turned her attention to the red-headed girl who looked to be around her own age, but then looked away as the girl kissed a boy’s forehead. Such a tender display of action wasn’t something she, a stranger, should stare at. Feeling that she’d stood in the room long enough already, Fera turned to leave but paused when she heard someone speak. She glanced back over her shoulder, unsure of who had spoken and whom that person was speaking too. Her gaze immediately fell back on the red-headed girl who walked up behind her and Fera quickly stepped out of her way letting her exit the room first before following suit.

“Perhaps,” Fera answered when the red head spoke again. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously for a moment and she scratched at her arm through the fabric of her coat again. Of all the times for the stupid thing to start acting weird it had to be now, when she already had enough problems to deal with. At the thought of her other problems Fera suddenly remembered the whole reason she’d come to the hospital, and the fact that she had no idea how to find her mother’s room. She could ask one of the nurses, but Fera didn’t like the pitying looks they gave her. That just left two options, wander around the hospital till she found it on her own, or ask the red-head. Rather begrudgingly she choose to ask the stranger, simply because she didn’t want to leave her mother alone in an unfamiliar room any longer simply because Fera was too stubborn to ask for directions. So with a sigh she spoke again, this time trying to sound more cordial. “Yes,” she started before pausing. “I’m lost,” the last two words came out as a nearly incomprehensible mumble. Fera didn’t like asking for help, but her mother needed her so Fera sucked up her pride and did so anyway. “Do you think you could help me find room E 210?”

PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeThu Feb 04, 2010 7:08 am

Ayame kind of frozed. Only her left hand was moving, up and down, lazily scratching her left thigh. Violet-hair-mint-eyes was doing same thing, scratching her arm. That's where located, that's where located~ she hummed in mind swaying head from side to side.
"By the way." popped out of her mouth before she could rethink what she wanted to say. "Perhaps," she repeated word other girl just said "you have marking kinda like that," Ayame completly shamelessly pulled side of her pants down, showing hip and upper part of thigh. Three letters "S I L" were clearly visible on scratched over skin, other seemed to hide under part of cloth she didn't pulled down "on your arm?" pulling pants back up redhead pointed arm that Violet Mint was scratching.
It didn't crossed her mind how weird her actions were, how much she could scare this girl.

Gray eyes stared silently, red head tilted to the side. She forgot to close mouth, or was going to say something but couldn't decide ...
"E 201?" sacrifice digged her non existent nails into material and scratched violently. "Sure. C'mon, to enter part E we need to start from first floor." Ayame looked around and then without looking back if other girl followed her, headed to stairs.

PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeThu Feb 04, 2010 3:10 pm

Fera started to scratch more vigorously at her arm then suddenly stopped when she saw the other girl was doing the same, only to her left thigh. Was there some kind of rash going around? She made a mental note to chastise her mother’s doctors for sending her to a hospital that had such an annoying itch going around. Little did Fera know, she was completely wrong in her assumptions. But as she’d never heard of such things as Sacrifices and Fighters nor Seven Moons how was she expected to?

Fera stared blankly at the taller red-headed girl, what in the world was she talking about? Her confusion further increased as the girl proceeded to strip right there in the middle of the hallway. Had she ended up in the psych ward part of the hospital? Perhaps it hadn’t been the best idea to ask this girl for help, and she started to glance around in search of the nurses she so despised. But out of the corner of her eye she spotted something tattooed on the red-head’s thigh. Her minty green eyes widened slightly before narrowing once again. Was this some kind of joke? Her right hand reached up to touch the spot on her arm where her own marking was located. But surely a person couldn’t, wouldn’t go to such lengths as to tattoo that on her arm as a joke? None of this made any sense, and Fera didn’t like it.

“So what if I do?” She asked suspicion lacing her usually neutral voice. Her hands reached up to tug at the zipper of her coat and she unzipped it part away before suddenly deciding she wasn’t sure if she wanted to show this girl. If this was some sick stupid joke, Fera was reluctant to play along. She wasn’t a puppet and refused to let anyone pull her strings as if she was one.

“No.” Fera said firmly, as if she’d changed her mind about asking for the girl’s help. But before the girl had a chance to speak she quickly clarified her meaning. “E 210, not 201.” She stood firmly planted in her spot and hesitated for a moment about following the girl. After all for all she knew this girl could be leading her off to hack her into tiny bits and use her bones as tooth picks. But the thought of her mother lying all alone somewhere in this hospital quickly quenched her irrational fears and she quickly followed after the red-head.

Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeThu Feb 04, 2010 10:05 pm

Ayame stifled laughter and wild desire to do something to completly freak this girl out. Ah, but she couldn't, Violet Mint was visiting someone; from stern look on her face Ayame could tell that she was visiting. And she wasn't cruel enough to spoil some pacient joy of having visitors.
"So you do." sacrifice noded as if that was anserw she was anticipating and run down the stairs. It wasn't her duty to explain things about units to newcomers, nor find out every single true name. Violet Mint was an unit - and that was it. About rest she could care less; trying to know what that name was for Ayame was simply not amusing so she didn't bothered with asking further.

"Hmm? Whatever." that was escape, travel to look for hidden treasure. They were looking for spot she didn't know, in building that was her second home. Hospital was fascinating, hiding within closed rooms small dramas, every as common as amusing ...
Redhead sat on the railing, with both legs on the one side, and slided down. Few nurses she passed by observed her with "I give up" expression before returning to their duties. Some old man clasped his hands with serious expression. "She is right, she is right ... that isn't some tombstone, people are alive there ..." he mumbled sneezing loudly.

"Uh, um~" Ayame rested hands on hips and stared at 5 corriors. "This leads to part 'E'; though it is small building without second floor where '200' and above numbers are supposed to be ..." she scratched back of her head. Hospitals were sometimes real maze. Especially if someone gave this chick wrong direcitons. Rubbing her itching leg she turned to Violet Mint.
"Who are you loo- Hmm. What illness is person you visit suffering from?" this was easiest way to find treasure they were looking for. Pale chuckle showed on her face. It was indeed wicked 'pirates' game ...

Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeFri Feb 05, 2010 11:24 pm

By now her arm had ceased to itch, and had settled instead to a slight numbing feeling. As if someone had injected her with nova cane like dentists use. She still didn’t know what the cause of the sensation was though. But she’d dropped the suspicion that it was because of some rash or plague, instead she was starting to think that it might be because of the strange red-head. After all she had a similar marking. Perhaps she might even know the reason behind the mark. But Fera didn’t want to ask, she had more pressing matters to attend to anyway. When the red-head, whose name she hadn’t bother ask about, took off back down the stair well Fera immediately followed. Though she went down the stairs two at a time rather than sliding down the hand rail like her guide had. This girl was turning out to be a real oddball in Fera’s eyes, and the Tameless sacrifice was seriously starting to question the girl’s sanity.

When the girl stopped suddenly Fera barely avoided colliding with her, and came to a skidding halt to the left of her. Following her line of sight Fera glanced down the hallway she assumed to be E hallway. It was like all the other hallways her mother’s room had been in. Though there was ample lighting, they always appeared to be darker than the rest of the hospital as if the shadow of death had taken up permanent residence there. And like all the others Fera knew that simply walking down it would send chills up her spine. It pained her to know that her mother was in some room down that exact hallway all alone.

“He might have given me the wrong room number,” Fera found herself absently saying without glancing over at the red-head. “But that’s definitely the right hallway.” An innate feeling told her so. But there was still the matter of which room. From her viewpoint Fera could tell that the hallway didn’t come to a dead end, but forked off into two directions no doubt having to deal with the specific illness of the patients roomed there. When the red-head spoke again, her question invoked a startling dark cloud of anger to fall over Fera. She hated talking about her mother’s illness, or rather the way people treated her when they found out her mother was dying. Most grew quiet and shy around her, as if they didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Fera wasn’t made of glass though, and she didn’t need their sympathy. “Cancer.” Fera finally answered, the single word tainted with bitterness and resentment.

PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeSat Feb 06, 2010 1:50 am

"Then garden view~" Ayame walked forward "Right or left, left or right~" she hummed with every step and finally turned left on the corner. "Deadly illnesses are always on the first floor so it's close to operating room. Ah, though certain long-stays are there as well ... they never agreeded to move me in there." she pursed lower lip in pout. "And from my room trees wasn't visible." she added sadly. Tips of her fingers touched wall as she walked with arm slightly extended to the side.

"Is that your family? This floor is lucky. Coz, when you're ill in there," sacrifice patted her temple with one finger, showing 'not right in mind' gesture "you rarely got guests." her steps were barely resounding through empty corridor. There were slight smell of medicines and washin powder and some chemicalls with which they were sterilizing floor. She could hear silent murmurs of talks from rooms, and sound of TV turned on. There was silent sound of machine that was checking someones hert beats, and other machine, making one breath, wheh he could no longer do it himself. It was peacefull floor. Death was always making people peacefull. Only visitors that were coming would feel this place as deressing or scary. For most of patients it was ...
"... hall. Angels have quiet life as well." Ayame mumbled silently not noticing that she said that out loud.
"Look for surname on the door~ They screwed something up, and room numbers are in some amazing order ... Like, kind of code ..."

Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeSat Feb 06, 2010 2:55 am

Fera followed silently behind the red-head, her green eyes darting from the names listed on the outsides of the doors back to her guide. There was no denying it now in Fera’s mind, this girl had to have taken one too many hits to that noggin of her’s. She wasn’t sure if the red-head was speaking to her, just thinking out loud, or if she was one of those people who saw ‘invisible people’ and she was talking to them. It was hard too hard to tell, so she just opted to stay silent and keep on the look out for her mother’s room. It had to be around here somewhere. After all how many terminally ill patients could one hospital have?

Quite a lot apparently, for Fera made it all the way to the end of the hallway without spotting her mother’s room. Now her choices were to turn left or right. Fera glanced to her left, there was nothing but a gurney occupying the hallway. Then to her right, a nurse was standing in the hallway talking to a white jacket clad doctor. From a distance Fera couldn’t fully hear what they were talking about, but she caught tidbits of the conversation. Something about a new arrival, this immediately caught Fera’s attention and she strained to hear more of the conversation. There! She heard them mention the name Evans, her last name. But then the doctor walked off and the nurse retreated into a room. “I think she’s down this way,” Fera muttered glancing back at the red-head before starting off towards the room the nurse had just went into.

"Treasure found then~ Nurse Nee-chan will show you the way for sure. More accurate than random red head~" she laughed out loud, happily, ignoring seriousness of this place; even cmentries needs laughter, and this was just a hallway to cmentary. So no need to act like living dead.
Even grey walls looked surprised with this sign of happiness and life. It was uncommon thing in there, where patients didn't had strenght to laugh, and their families weren't in mood to laugh.

She was rude, unpolite and bold, doing things that she shouldn't do and saying things she shouldn't say. Or more likely, saying and doing things that people owning even a little of common sense wouldn't say and done.
"Good luck little lady." Ayame suddenly hugged other girl from behind and kissed her ear with smacking sound. She was too intimate with this unfamliar person; but, she had violet hair, just like Tsu. And wasn't that reason good enough to kiss her?

Ayame backed, relasing girl from her arms, and turned back, heading to where they came from. Without second glance back, without asking for name or even saying goodbye, she semed like she already forgot about violet-haired girl.
Now, back, to Sato-chan? Though, nurse nee-chan said that she will be back, so she will treat Tsu ... Anyway, am I even needed in there any longer? Do I want to go back? Ayame rubbed her still slightly hurting head, lost in her own thoughts once again.

Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended)   Fera's Sudden Arrival (Ended) I_icon_minitimeSat Feb 06, 2010 5:15 am

Fera had already started off down the hallway when the red-head spoke, and she stopped albeit reluctantly and glanced over her shoulder. Once again this girl’s wild personality made Fera question her sanity, how could someone act happy in a place like this? But Fera’s viewpoint was different than that of this strange girl. Fera saw this place with resentment. It would be the place, or a place like this where her mother spent her final days. The days that would come all too soon, much sooner than someone like her deserved.

Fera stiffened when she felt someone grab her from behind, what was the red-head doing now? “What the?” Fera said starting to turn before she felt the red-heads lips brush against her ear. Who did this girl think she was? They were strangers, and here she was acting like they were the best of friends. It annoyed Fera that she acted so familiar with her. But before Fera could voice her protests the girl had already flitted off down the hallway as if nothing had happened. Fera remained standing in the hallway for a few brief moments, a dark scowl on her pale face before huffing and heading the opposite way down the hall towards the room the nurse had entered.

Much as Fera had expected the room belonged to her mother. The nurse from before was standing next to her bed, injecting something into her mother’s I.V. Said nurse turned when she heard Fera enter the room, and gave the girl a questioning look. “Hello dear, what are you doing in here?” She asked slightly surprised.

“This is my mother’s room,” Fera replied irritation leaking into her tone. Her mint green eyes darted from the nurse then to where her mother lay sleeping. She looked so pale that if it hadn’t been for the slow and steady rise of her chest, one might have mistaken her for dead. Fera forced herself to look away, it was just too hard to see her mother like that.

“Oh,” the nurse said her face molding into the sad sympathetic smile Fera knew it would. “Well she’s resting right now, the doctor prescribed her some pretty heavy pain killers. She’ll be sleeping for quite awhile, why don’t you come back tomorrow morning.” The last part wasn’t spoken as a suggestion, the nurse’s tone made it clear that her mother wasn’t to have visitors right now, family or not. Fera wanted to argue with the woman, and demand that she be allowed to stay but she knew that would be childish of her. The nurse was right after all, her mother needed rest desperately. And besides, Fera didn’t want to stay anyway. Seeing her mother like this was simply too painful. “Fine,” the violet haired girl remarked turning on her heal and departing from the room. Silently she made a promise to her mother that she would definitely come back in the morning, even if it meant skipping her morning classes.

Now that she knew where she was going, it didn’t take long for Fera to find her way out of the hospital and as she reached the revolving doors her stomach gave an audible growl. She couldn’t remember when she’d last ate, had it been this morning, or perhaps last night? It felt like forever ago either way. Standing outside on the sidewalk in front of the hospital Fera took a moment to decide what to do next, she could go home and eat. But the thought of going back to the empty house felt wrong. It was decided then, she would go out to eat. Perhaps a nice café, without the hustle and bustle of a busy and noisy restaurant.
