Music's Muse [OPEN]

Fera started to head with the others when a sudden thought dawned on her. She didn’t have her sketch book. She’d left it sitting on the bench earlier along with her bag. Great, with her luck someone probably swiped them both up. Though all they’d get is a few unfinished drawings and a bag full of miscellaneous pencils and pens. Luckily in her haste to leave home that morning she’d forgotten her wallet on the dresser next to her bed. Still Fera had to go back and get them, if they were still there that is.

Quickly muttering something along the lines of ‘I gotta go do something and I’ll meet you there,’ Fera wasted no time in heading back the way she’d originally came eventually disappearing from sight.

When the bench came into sight Fera’s stomach dropped, she didn’t see her bag. It seemed like some jerk decided to take off with it. At least her sketch book was still here though, and when she neared the bench she gathered it up in her arms protectively holding it against her chest. Then she turned to leave, but something caught her eye and made her stop. Her bag was laying just behind the bench. Maybe it fell off? Or someone pilfered through it and decided the contents weren’t worth stealing? Either way Fera was just glad it was still here, and even more so to find that nothing was missing from inside its pockets. Though the bag wasn’t much to look at, just simple a simple black messenger bag it held a lot of sentimental value. And to her it was one of a kind.

Slipping the sketch book into the back she pulled the strap over her head and let it fall comfortably against her side before heading off in the general direction of the hospital the bag thumping rhythmically in time with her steps against her hip.
