my confirmation name is Akita.
so it's Emma Colin Akita.
they never really went over any of the names with us,
just sort of. . . blah, yeah.

see, i'm used to being the only emma, so when
someone says "Emma," i assume it's me.
now a lot of parents at my work treat me like a pedo
b/c i answered them. . .

Lol, I kinda understand. When I hear my name on the street I always jump - I'm used to be the only Maria.
Luckily, in my case it's really rare, because my name is still unpopular. And I hope it will stay that way.

Ah, but confirmation name~ It was so much fun, I picked 'Eulalia' coz I never heard it before (or after) and with this one I'm sure that I won't meet other Eulalia ... xD why people uaually choose popular names for confirmation? It's only moment when you can choose your own name, so why picking something popular?
Lol ... actually priest read it wrong. It's 'Eulalia' but he read it as 'Aulalia'.

over here, they put a lot of emphasis
on choosing a name of a saint based on your hobbies.
and with my mother being so religious,
she wouldn't let me pick any old nam.
i actually had to argue with her over allowing me to
choose my own name.

They were saying that we have to choose some saint and know his background, why he/she become saint ... well, there is saint named Eulalia. But I really choosed her only basing on fact that I liked name. Good that my family isn't religious at all.

she wanted it to be Catherine-Mary.
i was kind of hoping there'd be a saint Charlotte,
since I love that name. but Emma Colin Charlotte
doesn't sound that pretty. I like Bernadette too,
but once again, it just doesn't sound right.

Emma Colin is just such a definitive name,
nothing really pairs well with it.

I picked mine just b/c I wanted this one~ I didn't think if that would fit my other two names. It was just fun looking for name. I even have one that I'd choose if I were boy.
I'd choose Zefiryn

Hehe, both Eulalia and Zefiryn are names I never heard before or after, and even though I like them I won't call my kids(if I ever have kids) that. So it was only occasion to use it ... ah, I really liked Zefiryn. Too bad I'm girl ...

oh yea, I hate some names because they remind me of person I dislike. Like ... Michelle ... I knew girl named like that, she was like snake. Poisonous snake. And so, I can't stand this name :/ even if next person named like that will be super nice and great, I guess that I'd still dislike it. And probably be rude for that person (at the beginning)

Ah, but Audrey is such a cute name and I'm really asttached to Liv. Though, I wouldn't use them to name girl, they would be awkward in Poland.

and then the Jessica's are really hyper/talkative,
and sadly all the Riley's (Aya's original character name) have been hick jerks.

Liv as a nickname or a name? I've only ever heard it as a nickname
for Olivia. which is just an awkward name for me,
althought I do like Olivier~

I got Audrey from Audrey Hepburn,
she's a hero of mine; she was so sweet and so gorgeous!
very feminine.

Well, I heard Liv as name, not nickname~ Or maybe I'm just wrong xD It's after actress Liv Tyler; Arwena from Lord of the Rings. I adore LotR, and she was much prettier when she wasn't dressed up as Arwena ... and then I found myself liking the name

When I hear 'Audrey' I think about this actress Audrey Tautou. She is so cute~

eh, i couldn't get through either,

I don't remember much from film; I was occupied with listening to music. As usual, Hans Zimmer, I really like his soundtracks. Though it was better in Angels and Demons.

based on what you've told me about Amelia,
you might like the book As Meat Loves Salt,
seems very similiar, only with men.
it's a long read (over 500 pages), but beautifully written.
the main character is schizophrenic, but since it was not a disease
in the time frame of the book, it obviously
goes undiagnosed.

But I don't think we have it in Poland. Hm, or I'll read it in original version ... but for that I'd need to buy it ... hm. Maybe it's somewhere there.

and ... 500 pages? Then it's, hm, 2 days, maybe 3, if it's not interesting enough to read during night.
Books needs to be at least over 300 pages, or I end them in one day.
and I'm lazy, going to library so often would be annoying.

If it's out anywhere near you guys, I recommend the book "Fallen" if you like lovey-story and tragedy aswell.

It's about a girl who gets sent to this school for criminal-kids to go to because she's suspected of killing her boyfriend. ._.
then she meets people blahblahblah.

That sounds like a very interesting book, Lib. When I return Sherlock Holmes Tuesday I'll ask if they have it. I also have to ask about As Meat Loves Salt. I can't forget. >_<
