Appearance: He is rather short for his age, looking almost like a child at times. He tends to dress like a girl, since he feels very insecure dressing as a boy. Most people who meet him assume he is a girl, because of his short stature, soft voice and fine, girlish looks. His eyes are a soft golden color, and his hair is white blond, reaching down to his waist. His ears and tail are a deep black color, since he dyes them. He hates how they show dirt extremely easily when they’re naturally white, so he keeps them black. His true name is located on his chest, crossing over his heart.

Personality: Kami is a very naïve person, having lived in a bubble for most of his life. He tends to be bubbly and outgoing, smiling at everyone. He makes friends easily, and gets along well with everybody. When in battle, he has a strong personality and will fight without mercy. But afterwards, he will always feel guilty and try to be kind to the other unit and help them with their wounds. He can take pain easily, having a high tolerance for it, but gets woozy at the sight of blood. He’ll get very nervous and chattery, often going on for minutes without seeming to breathe.
He likes to talk to everyone. In school, he was made fun of a lot, but he persisted in talking to everyone and made a few friends. He flourished in the theatre department, and found acting to be a good choice for him. He can be a little strange at times, causing most people to steer clear of him, but once you get to know him, he can get you to join in his crazy antics immediately.

Background: Kami was born to two Japanese parents, who were expecting a girl. Which was unusual for most Japanese parents, but the wife wanted a little girl. When Kami was born as a boy, Aki suffered severe depression symptoms. In her depression, she forced a young Kami to dress and act like a girl. She even named him as if he was a girl. His father, Hiro, was absent most of the time, choosing to work to escape his wife’s insanity. Kami’s mother was always kind to him. And so was his father. His mind was poisoned, twisted into a different reality. He loves his parents, but since his true name showed up, he has been living at the Academy. He goes home and visits them often. They live in Kakinokizaka, which is located in the Meguro, Tokyo district. He usually takes the bus since it’s not very far from Shibuya. He learned that he was Senseless because he had no real sense of what he is supposed to be in normal society. He preferred to live in the world his parents had created for him. He attends the high school near the Academy as a 10th grader, with the other underage units that live at the Academy.

Other: He is in fact gay, since in his mind, he believes that he is supposed to like boys, even though he is one. He tends to become chattery and loud when he gets nervous. And he hides behind people when he gets scared.
