Personality: Naoki is usually a cheerful guy but sometimes can feel down for no reason. He likes to help other people and make friends, but sometimes isn't very good at it because he gets nervous speaking to people he doesn't know or isn't that close to. He smiles very little, but is usually happy.

Background: Naoki grew up in a small village with many people in it. When he was ten, him, his mum, dad and sister went out to look around the village and go to anywhere they thought seemed fun. But, then a disaster struck. Everyone except him was murdered by an unknown person, and he has blamed himself ever scince for not helping them. Because he is scared of people that might hurt him, he was very unsociable around school and only had one friend. That friend ended up moving away and that left Naoki alone. Ever scince, he has lived with his aunt and uncle, trying not to cause trouble for them. He got good grades and ended up going to a really good uni. When he is feeling down, it is mostly because either he is remembering things about his past, he see's a happy family together and he gets sad thinking about his own or he thinks he is giving his aunt and uncle too much trouble because he is staying with them. When he finishes university, he wants to become a doctor, to help people. He wants to help people because he doesn't want anyone to feel like he did when he lost his family. He knows that sometimes it won't work out, and life can be terrible.. But he still wants to try his best. He works at a small bar as a part-time job, but can only do a couple shifts a week because of homework etc. He tries to make friends around university, but now, his only friend there is his best friend Yuuki. Him and Yuuki go out together often, and Yuuki comforts him when he's "feeling blue". Naoki loves Yuuki like a brother, and they always hang out together whenever they can. Naoki calls him "Yuu" for a nickname.
